Wayes were involved in the production of the network requirement definitions to cover the creation of the administration infrastructure required for their launch network architecture. The task initially being done to rationalise the physical network being provisioned for launch. Thereby ensuring that services required for launch could in fact be provisioned utilising the technology being acquired for switched and administrative functions.
